MEET CHASE
Positive Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community
In February of 2022, Chase Tramont launched his campaign for the newly drawn Florida House District 30, which stretches from Port Orange to the northern half of Titusville. Chase is currently serving as a Council Member for the City of Port Orange. In addition to his daytime career as a Marketing Manager for DME Delivers in Daytona Beach, he also serves as a board member for First Step Shelter. An ordained minister, Chase served as a pastor for 10 years before becoming an educator, teaching American History and coaching basketball at Spruce Creek High School.
Born in 1979 at Halifax Hospital, the Tramont family established itself in Volusia County in 1966 when his father, Bruce Tramont, relocated here from Mount Vernon, Ohio. Bruce began teaching at Ormond Middle and then Father Lopez High School where he met his fellow teacher and future wife, Sharon.

Chase graduated from Mainland High School in 1998 and went on to obtain his bachelors at Flagler College on a full basketball scholarship.

Chase was elected to the Port Orange Council in 2016 and has served his community with impeccable honesty and integrity. In addition to being a fiscal hawk, he has built his reputation as one who says what he means and means what he says. He is a proven principled conservative, having consistently opposed tax increases, harmful business regulations, and healthcare mandates which were so prevalent during the Covid pandemic. He is battle-tested and prepared to join the fight in Tallahassee in protecting and preserving our constitutional and conservative principles and values that enabled Florida to be among the most prosperous and freest states in the Union.

Chase is married to Staci Tramont and together they have four children: Shea, Chloe, Jacob, and Kennedy Reagan.
